Connect Mottom to Claude

With the Mottom connector, Claude sees your channels, calendar and analytics, drafts posts, and schedules or publishes them with your approval.

Server URL:

https://api.mottom.xyz/mcp

claude.ai and Claude Desktop (Free, Pro, Max)​

  1. Open Customize → Connectors (claude.ai/customize/connectors).
  2. Click Add custom connector.
  3. Name it Mottom and paste the server URL. Leave the OAuth fields empty.
  4. Click Add, then Connect.
  5. In the mottom.xyz window that opens, sign in, choose All my workspaces or a single workspace, and click Authorize.

Claude's Free plan allows one custom connector.

Team and Enterprise​

An Owner adds the same URL under Organization settings → Connectors → Add → Custom → Web. Each member then finds Mottom under Customize → Connectors and clicks Connect with their own Mottom account.

Claude Code​

claude mcp add --transport http mottom https://api.mottom.xyz/mcp

Then run /mcp in Claude Code and choose Mottom to sign in in your browser.

Using it in a chat​

Make sure Mottom is on under + → Connectors in the message box, then just ask:

  • "What's scheduled for North Brew next week?"
  • "Draft three Instagram posts for our autumn menu and schedule them at the next free slots."
  • "Which of last month's posts performed best?"

Reading runs straight away. Anything that creates, changes, publishes or deletes asks for your confirmation first. Available actions: Tools.

Troubleshooting​

  • "Couldn't reach the MCP server": check that the URL ends in /mcp.
  • Stuck after signing in: make sure you're signed in to mottom.xyz in the same browser, then click Connect again.
  • "No active subscription": that workspace needs an active plan.
